Jess explored various styles of agency whilst learning her trade as first an intern, then an assistant, then an associate agent. She also briefly dipped her toe into the world of casting and understands how things work on the other side of the coin.

She was delighted to join Collective Agents as an agent in November 2021. Jess loves being an agent as she finds it fun and interesting hearing about people’s career aspirations and feels that when one helps a client to achieve their dreams, it can be extremely rewarding and exciting. She has very much enjoyed assembling a list of actors and theatrical creatives who work across the genres in brilliant television and film productions as well as beautiful plays and musicals.

Jess’ key belief is that each client is an individual so needs a specific strategy to support their career journey, and that the agent-client relationship works best when viewed as a professional friendship. She also thinks that there is nothing as electric as when a client she’s been rooting for finally gets their big break!
