Composer, Musical Supervisor, and Arranger

Paul Schofield

Paul is a Musical Supervisor, Composer, Orchestrator and Arranger. He works with numerous artists as Musical Director (including Ruthie Henshall, Kerry Ellis, Clarke Peters) and on various productions in London and across the UK.

He is a managing director of Three Pin Productions Ltd, which was established with Ruthie Henshall in 2012. The company have produced both national and international tours (including Australia Tour 2019 starting at Sydney Opera House), recorded studio albums, produced original book musicals for Cunard and, amongst other projects, provided theatrical/musical consultancy for the broader entertainment industry.

Paul co-produced a new UK version of Stephen Sondheim’s Passion, which premiered at Hope MillTheatre, Manchester, in May 2022.

Alongside this, he is the Composer/Lyricist for Original British Musical Worlds Apart, which he has created with his collaborator, Matthew Cavendish.

Recent composing credits also include Simon Stephens’ “Song From Far Away’ starring Will Young at HOME Manchester and The Hampstead Theatre.

In November 2022 he and Ruthie Henshall announced the launch of RHCAST, a new higher education drama school focusing on Musical Theatre Industry Preparation.
